I have searched and all the old posts that seem to touch on this don't have the pictures associated with them anymore. I had my engine worked on many years ago, the mechanic deleted the egr for me. After some time driving I left the car to sit due to fuel leaks and oil leaks... it was sitting for 3 years. Recently got her up and running again and noticed that the small metal pipe coming from the rear of the plenum on the passenger side ( the EGR vacuum line at solenoid location) was not plugged. Is this metal pipe suppose to be plugged or left open? thank you for anyones help and sorry for posting about something that I'm sure is somewhere on this site.
